Is your DJI Mavic Pro displaying a ‘Gimbal Motor Overload’ error?

This issue can be caused by a number of things but a common culprit with this device is the ribbon cable that sends power to the gimbal control board. This flex cable is easily damaged from even a minor crash and you may or may not be able to see the damage to the cable because the damage could just be inside the gimbal assembly and will only be seen upon disassembly.

Gimbal Errors that we also repair:

Other causes for this error could be during a crash if the gimbal is impaired or movement is restricted by leaving the gimbal clamp in. Also, the motors inside the gimbal could be damaged and would need to be replaced.

If you don’t have the DJI Care Refresh warranty this repair can cost up to $375 for DJI to repair this and could take several weeks before you receive your device back.

I can usually have these repaired the same day after receiving so you can have your drone back and running in a week. If for some reason I can’t restore your drone back to full functionality you don’t pay anything except shipping.

• Ship your drone and its controller only with the shipping carrier of your choice to the address below. Send with gimbal clamp attached if possible to protect the gimbal during transit.
• ** Please do not send anything besides the drone and controller (use proper padding though). I have packaging that specifically fits the drone and controller only. If you ship an item along with your package and need it back there may be additional shipping fees to use a larger package. After the repair is complete I will send you an invoice and ship your drone back to you.
